Inspired by Ancient Chinese Mythology

Like other soulslikes before itBlack Myth: WukongandWo Long: Fallen Dynasty,Wuchang: Fallen Feathersdraws inspiration from Chinese mythology and history. Set in the late Ming Dynasty, you play as Wuchang, “a skilled pirate warrior struck by amnesia, who must navigate the uncertainties of her mysterious past while afflicted by the horrific Feathering disease,”

This illness is the cause of truly horrific monsters that lurk the lands, giving Wuchang plenty of enemies and bosses to battle against.

Wuchang will “uncover hidden secrets and battle supernatural enemies in an ancient empire teetering on the edge of collapse.” It’ll be up to you to bring her memories back, and the choices you make along your journey will influence the game’s ending.

Wuchang: Fallen Featherscomes from Leenzee Games, a Chinese studio “focused on creating atmospheric, story-rich experiences that blend Eastern mythology with modern game design.” The studio’s previous title isA.D. 2047, a sci-fi VR game.
