A New Dimension of Sus
Release Date:August 11, 2025
It’s hard to believe it’s already been five years since the originalAmong Ustook the internet by storm during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the game is making a promising return to the spotlight withAmong Us 3D, a first-person, three-dimensional reimagining of the beloved social deduction game.
The game features a mix of classic and new mini-games, all from a fresh first-person perspective. One particularly exciting addition is proximity voice chat—a feature that was sorely missing from the originalAmong Us.
Based on the trailers,Among Us 3Dseems to me more like an adaptation of the 2022Among Us 3D: VRrather than a proper first-person experience, but at least you don’t need a VR headset to experience it. It’s shaping up to be like a more polished and objective-oriented version ofVRChat, and honestly, I’m all here for it.
An Equal Parts Charming and Terrifying Stop-Motion Nightmare
Release Date:July 02, 2025
Ever since the days of the fantastic 2D puzzle-platformerLIMBO, I’ve been itching for a game that blends charm with the macabre. It’s a strange combination, butThe Midnight Walknails it. On top of that, it makes fantastic use of stop-motion animation, which is just the icing on the cake. In many ways, it feels like a more adult and grotesque video game version of Henry Selick’s 2009 filmCoraline.
In this first-person game, you play as the Burnt One. Accompanied by your quirky yet eerie companion Potboy, you embark on a fantasy adventure filled with grotesque monsters. You battle, evade, and escape as you explore the dark, ominous environments of the world around you.

DOOM: The Dark Agesis the long-awaited prequel toDOOM 2016andDOOM Eternal, set in an epic medieval reimagining ofDOOM’s Hell. If it’s even half as good as its predecessors, it’s going to be incredible.
