Samsung’s Galaxy S25 lineup is one of the most feature-rich Android smartphones on the market. While that works in the favor of the handsets, it also means that you can face trouble in keeping track of all its capabilities. To elevate your experience, here’s a list of 15 hidden Galaxy S25 tips and tricks.
Customize Now Brief and Now Bar
TheGalaxy S25series comes with a new Now Brief feature, which uses machine learning to compile app alerts and notifications with actionable updates. Now Bar, on the other hand, is morelike an interactive widgetthat lets you manage the background activities like timers, music playback, or live notifications (similar to whatDynamic Island does on iPhones).
Well, you can customize both features for a tailored experience. To personalize the updates in Now Brief, head to Settings >Galaxy AI> Now Brief and tap “Content to include.”

On the next screen, you can choose the type of content you wish to appear in the Now Brief. For instance, if youdon’t want YouTube Shorts to show up, simply tap on the toggle to its right.
To personalize the Now Bar, head to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Now Bar, and underLive notifications, tap on “View more.”

Now, you may disable the feature for the apps you don’t want popping up on your lock screen.
Cross-App Gemini Extensions
For those who missed theGalaxy S25 launch eventand just got their unit off the shelf at a retail store, the phones now support cross-appGeminifunctionality. So, you can invoke the AI assistant and ask it to perform multi-step tasks that involve accessing data from several apps.
For instance, you can ask Gemini to make a list of popular burger joints near your house and save it inSamsung Notes. While Samsung says that Gemini can also access third-party apps like WhatsApp and Spotify, I couldn’t do so on my unit.

Switch to QHD+ Screen Resolution
The Galaxy S25+ and theS25 Ultra have a QHD+ panel, but by default, their resolution is set at FHD+ (2340 x 1080). Of course, the lower resolution improves the battery life, but if you want the best viewing experience, head to Settings > Display > Screen resolution and select the QHD+ option.
Enable Extra Brightness
All models in the Galaxy S25 lineup have incredibly bright screens, but they only reach peak brightness under direct sunlight in the defaultadaptive brightness mode. To take manual control over the brightness and ensure it reaches the maximum level (even indoors), you must do two things.
Head to Settings > Display and turn off “Adaptive brightness.”

Next, enable the “Extra brightness” toggle.
Use the Expert Raw Camera Module
While the Camera app on theGalaxy S25 clicks fantastic pictures, it doesn’t allow you to adjust the shutter, ISO, EV, or color balance manually. If you want to control all these settings and, more importantly, shoot inthe RAW image format, download the Expert RAW module via the Camera app.
Simply open the default Camera app, tap More at the bottom right corner, and select Expert RAW from the pop-up menu.

The app will redirect you to theGalaxy Store, where you can download Expert RAW. Once installed on your device, you can access it via the Camera or as a separate app in the app drawer.
The New Audio Eraser Works Well
Next up on the list of the hiddenGalaxy S25 features is the new Audio Eraser. It uses machine learning to recognize vocals, wind noise, and background disturbances in a video, allowing you to tune them up or down (similar to theAudio Magic Eraser on Google’s Pixel phones). The feature is available in the native Gallery app.
To use Audio Eraser, open the video in the Gallery and hit the pencil icon in the bottom left corner.

Next, hit the speaker icon in the bottom right corner and select Audio Eraser.
Now, you can either drag the sliders below the Voices, Wind, and Noise buttons to adjust the intensity of sounds in the video or press the Auto button and let Galaxy AI take care of it.

you’re able to even compare the results with the original sound in the video by tapping the “Hear original” button at the top left.
Make Video Highlights With Auto Trim in the Gallery
The new Auto Trim feature uses AI to extract key moments from selected videos and create a new video, reducing the time it would take totrim the videos manually.
In the Gallery, tap on the hamburger menu in the bottom right corner and select “Go to Studio.”

Tap on “Start a new project,” select the videos, and hit Done in the top right corner.
On the following screen, hit the scissor icon at the bottom left of the screen.

The Auto Trim feature uses AI to analyze the shots and compile the highlights in the form of a relatively shorter video. You can also change the length of the video by selecting the Short, Long, or Custom Duration options.
Instantly Enhance Image With Remaster
Though not a new feature, Remaster remains one of the lesser-known features of Samsung smartphones. On the Galaxy S25, you can use the Remaster feature toinstantly improve a picture. What needs to be done to enhance the picture — whether it is removing shadows, reflections, or adjusting the skin tones — is not something you’ve to worry about either.
Simply swipe up on a picture in the Gallery and select the Remaster option.
